South Africa is a truly beautiful country, with a unique history, and I believe we all have our part to play in giving back to the community around us.
Watering Whole Holistic Preschool aims to do this by:
- Supporting small businesses and local traders:
Wherever we can, we opt for supporting local entrepreneurs, such as local carpenters, farmers, painters, etc.
- Giving to others:
Every year Watering Whole is part of an initiative to collect books to help establish/set-up little libraries in areas in need. The children always have fun wrapping up the books together at the end of the year knowing they will be going to other children who will treasure them dearly!
- Watering Whole Scholarship Programme:
An important part of the school ethos is to try and find ways of supporting and providing opportunities for little learners.
Watering Whole Holistic Preschool is committed to sponsoring children who are unable to afford our current fees by providing a space for them in the preschool at a highly reduced rate. Parents and anyone wishing to assist with the sponsorship can offer donations to this ‘scholarship fund’. Please contact us for further information on making a contribution to this cause or if you have someone in mind you think may benefit from this.
